Audrina Patridge does LA Direct Magazine this month. And Audrina actually looks pretty good doing the cover…except she isn’t front facing.  What’s that all about?  Do you think she spills any details about the Speidi nuptials?

More photos and her interview after the jump…

Nope.  She does not mention one word about Heidi and Spencer Pratt getting married.

Audrina has been laying low for a few weeks now.  Is she sick?  Nope.  But she does talk about herself, her state of mind, her coming future…

Highlights from her interview:

Is fame everything you imagined it would be?
I wanted to be in the entertainment industry and
now I’m finally in it so I’m not really complaining. It’s
what I always wanted.

Do you feel that you are portrayed accurately on
The Hills?

There’s a lot more to who I am than what is shown,
but they can’t show the full hour of what we film,
they can only show a minute or 30 seconds of it. I
am an assertive person, I’m very talkative and
outgoing and I always stick up for myself, but I feel
like that’s not always represented on the show.

Lately, you and Lauren Conrad (the main
character on The Hills) have been going through
some problems, and you recently moved out of
the home you shared. Are you still friends?

Yeah, we’re friends. We’re not as close as we used
to be, but we are friends.

You’re also seen spending time with Heidi
Montag, Lauren’s former best friend on the
show. Do you consider yourself equally close to
the both of them?

I feel like it’s equal. I talk to Heidi every now and
then. All of our lives are so different and busy
because we’re all kind of doing our own thing while
still filming The Hills. We’ll check in with each other
and say ‘hey what’s up? I hope you’re OK.’

How do you handle the paparazzi constantly
trailing you?

I try to pretend they’re not there. But for the most
part, I mean, that’s their job and you just gotta accept
it and smile and wave and go about your own day.

Your love life is a big part of the show. What’s
dating like now that you’re famous?
It’s really hard, especially on the show with my
relationship. It’s very hard for me to talk about a
relationship, and live it out on camera. That’s why I
feel like I’m still with Justin [Bobby] because I’ve
known him since before I even started the show.
When I started dating new guys I didn’t know if I
could trust them, and they didn’t really understand
my schedule. They took it to heart that I couldn’t
always see them or hang out all the time. But with
Justin, he understands all of it, and I feel like that’s
why we’re together because we have that
understanding for each other.

Do you think being on the show brings more
drama into your life than if you weren’t on it?

Yes. Just because when I was in high school I
never ever had drama at all. I was friends with
everyone. I never had enemies, I was friends
with every group in school. Once I moved to LA
and started the show, I started going through all this
catty drama that I wasn’t used to.

You have a lot of young fans that look up to you.
Do you consider yourself a role model?
I do and I try my best to be the best that I can. But
I’m not perfect and I do make mistakes. I’m still
young and going through experiences that I have to
learn from. It’s hard to live your life on TV and
constantly get judged for every move you make, and
everything you say, and everything you wear. It’s a lot
of pressure.

Who do you admire in the business?
I really like Mila Kunis. She’s kind of done everything.
She’s done movies, cartoons, TV shows. Mila and
James Franco did a spoof of me and Justin, which I
thought was really funny. I don’t think of myself as
that interesting. I’m so critical of my own self. It’s
flattering and it’s fun because I’ll poke fun at myself,
too, like the blank stares [laughs]. I don’t take
anything too seriously.

What was it like filming your first movie, Into the
Blue 2?

I wasn’t really nervous. We all gave each other
advice and bonded. It was so different from filming a
reality show, but I nailed my scenes and I feel like I
did a good job. It was the first movie I’ve ever done
so I’ll never forget it.

What are some of your future plans?
I just finished the movie Sorority Row with Carrie
Fisher
and Rumer Willis. It’s gonna come out next
Halloween. Besides filming The Hills, I wanna do
more movies and scripted TV shows where I have to
memorize lines and really become a character.
That’s my goal right now. That’s what I’m focusing
on.

Are you happy with your life right now?
I’m really happy with where I am right now. I
wouldn’t change anything. I’m doing what I love. I’m
finally getting into acting. There are so many different
opportunities that are in the talks. I’m really, really
busy right now and I love it.

Don’t forget to pick up your copy of LA Direct now available at newsstands. What do you think? Audrina looks hot or not?
