Britney Spears was the most searched person of 2008, according to Yahoo. While 2008 paled in comparison to 2007′s head-shaving roller coaster of fun, 2008 did have that whole Adnan Ghalib sex tape fiasco, crazy lady ambulance ride, “Womanizer” and duet with Madonna.

If nothing else, the top ten list is a mirror to our country’s priorities. Barack Obama came in a measly third, beat out by WWE and narrowly edging out Miley Cyrus‘s reign of terror in the fourth place spot. Surprisingly, Angelina Jolie was only in tenth place, and Suri Cruise was nowhere to be found.
