Irreconcilable differences. That’s what the paperwork says. And supposedly the couple have been separated since before Thanksgiving, meaning their marriage lasted a whole 14 months. Kate’s PR Rep said via ET Online!:
“Papers have been filed to amicably end the marriage of executive Alex Young and actress Kate Walsh. The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
Friendly terms? I doubt it. When will the dirt come out about the reality of Kate and Alex’s breakup? Who cheated on who first?

I heard that he broke up with her because they weren’t spending time together, and Kate was too career-oriented and wanted to always go out to all these social events. Alex is more of the quiet stay-at-home type. But who really knows. Maybe some cheating was involved!
