Lynn Spears said recently she debated naming her autobiography, It’s All My Fault, as she takes the blame for Britney’s meltdown last year. It’s no secret that Britney didn’t have the best upbringing. Lynn, however, is mother of the year compared to Jamie’s drunken carousing!

Lynn told The Daily Mail she was unavailable for Britney and perhaps shielded her too much during childhood. She was also worried Britney may try to kill herself. However, she was persuaded to rename the book, Through the Storm.

‘When her life was such a success, what did she need me for? And when things took a turn for the worse, I was out, because other people – dancers, managers – were closer to her, and with her day and night. Being a mother, you can’t help but have regrets about what you did and didn’t do for your kids, and I’m no different. “

Lynn, surprisingly, had really great things to say about Kevin Federline:

He has been real good with Britney, and doesn’t want to keep the kids from her at all. He’s not a bad guy and he has a good heart. I would have chosen a prince or a state governor for her, but Kevin’s worked a lot to help out, and I can’t say anything bad about him.”

K-Fed is a faaaar cry from a prince or state governor! A sandwich artist at Subway would bring in more cash.

She also said Daddy Spears has been a strict conservator. He doesn’t let Britney e-mail, drive or spend more than $750 a month. Brutal.
