Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour is not only the year’s top selling concert, but will soon become the most lucrative show of all time by a solo artist. Madonna’s ticket sales raked in $105 million, and she broke her own record (for 2006’s Confessions tour) by grossing $280 million worldwide. Madonna and Mick Jagger should really pen a tell-all on how they maintain such youthful energy—the sales from that book would trump any tour figures.
