Michael Phelps was on Live With Regis and Kelly and admitted he’s single and not seeing anyone. Phelps is back on the market, laaadies! Of course, anyone with internet access has seen pictures of Michael Phelps walking in an airport with some busty, unidentified Asian chick. Alas, Busty Asian Chick was just a photographer’s prop. Hm. Michael Phelps’ paparazzi prop—how does one earn such a coveted gig? Sign me up!

Michael Phelps was admittedly a bit freaked about the whole situation:

“They pose the girl up next to me as I get out of the car, and she follows me in,” he explained. “I was like, ‘Oh wow, you guys are pretty original — pose somebody next to me to make it look like we’re together!’ She, like, follows me up the counter. I’ve never seen her before in my life!” he added. “They were following us all day in L.A., so it was just nuts.” via UsWeekly

You know, I don’t feel too much sympathy for the Brangelina/Aniston/Mayer/Speidi/Simpson/Hilton juggernaut. Those fame hungry celebutards looooooooove every last minute of this paparazzi absurdity. Michael Phelps, however, is not a press-happy performer. Just a simple man who likes to be one with the water and create art with his freestyle. 

I feel sorry for Michael Phelps. Do you?
