Paris Hilton has been storming through the shops of Australia spending excessive amounts of money and leaving a trail of raised eyebrows in her wake. Paris is hosting some huge party in Australia tomorrow night and spending her days shopping, racking up bills so large, World Vision of Australia head Tim Costello claims the price tage would “ensure a village of 2000 people in Africa or Asia would have clean water for the rest of their lives.”

Of course, this is old news to all of us who have lived, breathed and analyzed every move of Paris Hilton’s for (what seems like) eons. E! Online is reporting one Australian newspaper very cleverly had the headline “Paris Hilton spends $140 a minute in Chapel Street, Melbourne, shopping spree.”
And?
If you thought Australia was green to the whirlwind known as P. Hilt, then the statement confirms that her shopping was a “stunt designed to promote herself.”
To which we say: DUH!
