Amy Winehouse’s new documentary says she almost died twice recently in her battle with drugs. And recovery. Well, duh, is anyone surprised by this? The only surprising thing may be that there is a documentary being filmed about the whole ordeal and Amy’s sad life.

It’s almost gross that this documentary about Amy’s troubled life is being created. Her family is part of it, especially her parents! Are they actually trying to profit off their daughter’s horrible drug problem? Hopefully any profits will go towards drug education for teens or such.

Detailing his daughter’s lowest points for the upcoming TV documentary Saving Amy, Mitch Winehouse says that while the media have been reveling in her downfall, “They didn’t see her lying in bed for days in a dark room,”
Are we supposed to be shocked by this? Didn’t everyone know they were hiding information after Amy appeared awful looking? He must think the public is stupid and hoping to pay to see this documentary.
