Britney Spears is slated to write an autobiography for 15 million dollar (£10 million). According to London’s Mirror, Britney has already been signed by a literary agent and will start writing as soon as her tour ends. Britney has decided to finally write her side of the story because so many other ghost writers have tried to put into words her hectic, often-changing world and they’ve never been 100% accurate.

The Mirror says:
There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome – until now. And some of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. She’s kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to. If the deal goes ahead she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade – it’s one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history.
I for one think this is a fantastic idea if Brit Brit can actually get a good team of writers and editors together. Nobody sells a tabloid like Britney, who has consistently been the number one search on Yahoo! for years. However, I think the publishing company needs to be very, very careful about how they market and manage all the publicity.
