Jennifer Hudson will perform at the inauguration for President Obama. It will probably be her first public appearance AND performance since the tragic murder of her brother, her mother and her nephew in October. Jennifer was a huge supporter of Obama and it seems fitting that she makes her re-appearance there.

Jennifer has kept a very low profile since the triple murder. She has released very few statements since the funerals and is keeping to herself, canceling scheduled video shoots last month. This is what Hollyscoop says about the upcoming January 20 inauguration:
“Organizers want Jennifer to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at the Inauguration on January 20. They are talking to Jennifer about it. It would be the first time she performed since the murders. She is from Chicago and a huge Obama supporter.”
Do you think she’s had enough time to regroup and get herself together enough to sing? Of course, one never gets over something this tragic, but she can heal. Has she had enough time?
