Mariah Carey wanted to sit by Michelle Obama at President Obama’s inauguration on Tuesday. Ha! Actually, she didn’t want to, she thought she actually was going to sit next to the Obama family. That takes nerve! Guess what she did next!

Mariah did perform at the Neighborhood ball for the Obama’s, but not the inauguration itself. That was reserved for the Queen Diva, Aretha Franklin. From the New York Post:
A spy said, “Mariah was in the VIP area, where every celebrity, like Jon Bon Jovi, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Bruce Springsteen was seated. But somehow she thought she’d be up with the Obama family. When she realized she wasn’t, she bailed.”
What a diva. She actually left a president’s inauguration because she was with other stars. How lowly. Her and Beyonce should be let in a room together and they can duke it out for Queen diva. Well, maybe Aretha Franklin too…we’d know who would win!
