Melissa George’s last day on Grey’s Anatomy will be today, Tuesday, Jan. 20th but Melissa says it was her choice to leave the cast. Melissa played Sadie Harris, and both she and the producers felt that character had run it’s course.

Regardless, Melissa had nothing but good things to say about the cast and her experience on Grey’s Anatomy. She told EW.com via People magazine:

“I’ve made some beautiful friends. I love T.R. Knight. I love Patrick Dempsey, Justin Chambers … I adore Ellen Pompeo. I think she’s a strong, incredible woman. And Katherine Heigl is the most beautiful creature on Earth. It won’t be a big send off, but it’s really cool what they do.”

All that goobeldygook certainly sounds like a weepy fired employee who was “let go” the nice, corporate way. But who knows.
