Randolph Cook is an ex-lover of Oprah Winfrey and claims the two had passionate sex and smoked crack. Randolph rcently published a book, “The Wizard Of O: My Life With Oprah” in which he makes all sorts of shocking claims about the talk show host and blames his esophageal cancer on their wild times together.

According to The National Enquirer, they unearthed court documents where Oprah admits to sleeping with Randolph and doing cocaine with him during a 1984 affair. He also makes sort of a snooty claim that
“Americans have placed Oprah on a pedestal that has been seemingly invincible until now.”

I buy that he and Oprah have a drug-filled past, but it seems horribly mean-spirited to blame her for his health problems. It’s clearly just a scummy guy trying to make a buck, which is fine. But he’ll hardly be succesful at destroying the Oprah empire. Oprah Winfrey really can do no wrong to many, many people.
