Katie Holmes supports the New York City economy single handedly. Or so it seems by her checking account. Reports have come out saying that in her short 6 month stay, Katie has shelled out an incredible $14 MILLION dollars! That’s a lot of money to jump start the economy!

Katie might not have that much money herself, but hubby Tom Cruise surely does. And he doesn’t seem to mind letting the little wife spend it. The Telegraph reports that:
John Travolta’s son Jett’s death was caused by a seizure disorder. The autopsy was performed today in the Bahamas and the results were conclusive. The actual coroner’s report was not released, but sources claim seizures and not head trauma caused Jett’s death.

The results of the autopsy became public knowledge this afternoon. The Associated Press says:
Taylor Swift becomes only the 4th country star to perform on Saturday Night Live. Swift will sing this Saturday, LIVE from New York! Taylor was very excited to get the gig, because it is her mom’s birthday and they get to spend it in New York City together.

Taylor joins a very short list of country performs asked to grace the SNL stage. The others include Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw. The Hollywood Reporter says:
Jessica Simpson’s recipes were included in the Wives of Dallas Cowboys Cookbook. How is that possible, since she isn’t a wife? Are other girlfriends included or did they throw Jessica in in hopes that her celebrity status would sell more cookbooks?
