Scarlett Johansson told a reporter for the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar that she’s humiliated (and a bit annoyed) the tabloids accused her of having a romantic crush on Barack Obama. Scarlett was very much involved with Ryan Reynolds at the time, but aside from that, doesn’t understand why being passionate about a political candidate means you have to want to sleep with him.

She’s quoted as saying:

“Talk about sexist. If I were George Clooney, they would never have written that. I was obviously in a relationship, and people were like, ‘How dare she try to break up his marriage with Michelle?’ I was like, What the heck is going on?  I was really mortified.”

ScarJo definitely has a point. But, c’mon, of course blogs and magazines are going to say that! Catchy headlines sell papers and also used tissues—as ScarJo found out the easy way.
