Drew Barrymore got her tongue pierced after her split from Justin Long, and thinks the stud scares away potential men. Drew was on the Ellen DeGeneres show and admitted she’s always wanted the piercing and finally mustered up the nerve nine months ago. Since then Drew has been single, but did say having a piece of metal in her tongue was a great diet plan.

She told Ellen via The Sun:
After it was done I was like, ‘Oh my God why wouldn’t people do this? It doesn’t hurt at all,’ and the guy said, ‘What I didn’t tell you is that for the next two weeks it is going to be a little uncomfortable.’ Two hours later I couldn’t eat or drink for two weeks, it was a great diet in a weird way, a sick and sadistic diet and after that it was fine.”
So odd Drew waited until now to got her tongue pierced, but withheld back in her Letterman, titty-flashing, Tom Green dating days. Strange, huh?
