Hilary Duff finally responds to the smackdown Faye Dunaway dished out last week. To recap: Faye trashed the casting for the remake of one of her famous roles, that of Bonnie from Bonnie & Clyde. Faye originally played the bad girl in 1967, with co-star Warren Beatty. When Faye asked what she thought about the remake, she said, ”Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
More pictures after round two….
Ouch. So what does the young Hilary do? She keeps quiet for a few days and then lashes out with a – I’ll admit it’s great and biting – reply. Here it is via Dlisted:
“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too. It’s not really like taken off of the movie, it’s taken off the true story of Bonnie and Clyde. So the movie was adjusted slightly by how they wanted to do it and this is kind of like the true events of how everything went down.”
That kind of stings. She’s called old, ugly and says the movie wasn’t real. Will there be a round 3? I bet. Do you think Hilary’s rebuke was right on or unnecessary?

Right. I support Hilary 110%. What’s her face should just face the facts that she’s getting old, and let the new, fresh stars take over.
