Freida Pinto, the rising star of Slumdog Millionaire, has been hiding a secret husband as claimed by a close friend of the couple. Freida, 24 doesn’t talk about her private life in interviews but recent reports say Pinto had separated from her fiance, Rohan Antao. (See Photos below)

However, it is now claimed that the couple married in Goa in December 2007 and Pinto kept the wedding secret because aspiring actresses in Bollywood stand a greater chance of scoring roles if they are single – as reports by Telegraph.UK
Antao is said to be “heartbroken” after Pinto ended their relationship last month, citing the pressures of her newfound fame. They had been together since 2004, when both were students at St Xavier’s College in Mumbai.
The friend also told the paper that: “Freida and Rohan fell in love at college and were extremely close. They were great together. The marriage was an impulsive decision and both of them went to a designer to get the gown made.
“Rohan was with her throughout her years as an actress when she was not at all famous. He supported her during the filming of Slumdog and the pair even celebrated the film’s success at the Toronto Film Festival together last year.
So who is to judge? What worked as a student doesn’t always work when you are an adult. He doesn’t look too hot anyway.. Oops, I am being superficial again, am I not?

I agree with what you said that the husband doesn’t look to hot. I mean let’s be honest shall we? Pinto played well as Latika in Slumdog Millionaire and it’s through her talent that she is now famous. Her husband might have helped her but she’s still human. So yeah, it’s either she wants to score more points in Hollywood by being single or she just couldn’t show up at the awards night with a man who looks like him. I don’t mean to sound rude but I’d like to meet someone who would say he’s good looking.

She’s super hot, he’s not that good looking. However, people seems to easily forget where they come from when their blessings come at bay. If thereis one thing I know for sure is that if you fail to forget where you come from, you will be subject to go back there.
