Joaquin Phoenix’s rep says he isn’t crazy and slammed a Chicago-based psychiatrist who says the actor may be suffering from schizophrenia. Joaquin‘s recent behavior has raised eyebrows as the actor performed an odd hip-hop act and acted distant on David Letterman a few weeks back.

According to UsWeekly, Paul Dobransky—a relationships expert and author of The Secret Psychology of How We Fall in Love—says the actor’s socially inappropriate behavior could be a sign of schitzophernia. However, Joaquin’s rep says it is rude and uncalled for to have someone who has never even met the actor try to diagnose him.
Whatever the case, Dobransky thinks the entire charade, whether it be a hoax or the unraveling of a human being very, very “unfunny.”
