Kanye West has scored himself a book deal. Kanye will pen, er, scrapbook a compilation of his “greatness” due out in October. One may wonder: how in the world did Kanye West get a book deal? His blogs are practically and embarrassment and quite honestly, we’re all sick and tired of looking at him.

more photos after the hop…

Charles Miers of Rizzoli publishing had this to say for pushing the whole Kanye book deal thing:

Kanye West has turned his talents as pop artist to books. With a CD that includes ‘Star Wars’-like symphonies from the show as well as an interview with Spike Jonze, it is not only a memento of one of the most successful musical performances of the year, it is an experience all its own.”

Wow. Did he get a degree in Bull Shite Public Relations from the School of Delusion? Ugh. We won’t be buying it, but don’t let us stop you!

Would you ever read a book by Kanye West?
