Kate Winslet says she’s done with nude scenes. Kate says she doesn’t want to be the old actress who feels the need to disrobe in every movie, and will probably call it quits on the nakedness after her latest flesh-tastic flick The Reader.

Kate told Time magazine:
“I think I won’t [get naked in a movie] again. I can’t keep getting away with it, and I don’t want to become ‘that actress who always gets her kit off.”
Getting her kilt off! Ha! I just love the British vernacular. Kate is also refreshingly modest about her acting ability and says she maybe knows how to act now. Maybe.
With these roles, I’ve just closed a big chapter in my life. I feel that only in the last two years could I look someone in the eye and say, ‘I know how to act’ and really maybe mean it. (pauses) Notice I said maybe.”
