Kim and Khloe Kardashian adopted a chimpanzee. In a move that was completely idiotic and senseless, they bragged about the new ‘pet’ shortly after the chimpanzee in Connecticut went on his rampage. Duh! Don’t these girls watch the news?

Kim implied on her blog that the monkey was a pet and permanent. From Kim’s blog:
WE GOT A MONKEY!!!!
Her name is Suzy, she is three years old, and she is a handful!She steals our BlackBerrys and climbs up my mom’s bed.
Having a monkey is a lot of work. Suzy always has her diaper on and we are the ones who have to change it!
It’s just like having an infant but worse because Suzy runs around like a teenager! She always needs to be fed, drinks out of a bottle and she loves Capri Sun juices!

I understand my timing was not appropriate and it was insensitive of me, so I want to explain. The pictures I posted are from six months ago when we were filming season three of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I had held onto these pictures for months and preset them to run the month before my show was going to air, to give you guys exclusive glimpses into season three.
My mom has been begging Kourtney, Khloe and I to settle down and have kids, so we thought it would be funny to rent a baby chimpanzee for a week and leave her with my mom! We don’t still have Suzy, she was just rented for a week! You guys will see what happens this season with Suzy!
So everyone can relax. Kim didn’t permanently adopt the “monkey” which is really not a monkey but a chimpanzee. Whew!
