Michael has appeared in public with very little of his face showing, hiding under surgical masks and caps for privacy. His hands looked swollen, purple and blotchy when they were pictured without gloves. What is going on? The Sun reports:

The 50-year-old Billie Jean singer is said to have a severe “staph” infection, resistant to conventional antibiotics.
Experts warned it threatened to develop into a terrifying flesh-eating disorder which could kill off areas of the superstar’s skin and leave him in need of major reconstructive surgery.
If stars can’t see the dangers of so much plastic surgery by now, they are stupid. Kanye West’s mom died, Usher’s wife has a heart attack and Michael’s had a ton of problems. Then here’s botched jobs like Tara Reid, etc. Stay away from the knife!
