The New York Post called President Obama chimpanzee, at least that is sure how it seemed to many people who read it. The stunningly offensive cartoon drawing springs from the chimpanzee rampage in Connecticut that ended with police shooting the creature dead last Monday. The chimp named Travis nearly killed the owner’s friend and attacked a police car.

The artist, Sean Delonas, depicts two cops standing over the chimp’s bullet-riddled body, one with a smoking pistol.
“They’ll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill,” the other cop says.
A photo of the President signing the stimulus bill appeared in Wednesday’s Post, one page before the cartoon. Readers who turned the page went right from Obama photo to the chimp drawing.
The cartoon’s conscious intent may have been to say the stimulus bill as written by Congress is such a mess it could have been penned by a monkey. – as reports by the New York Post
