Seems like Octumom would have the presence of mind not to pump silicone into her lips prior to a propped up interview, they obviously need the money and attention. That money could have gone to pay hospital bills, opposed to tax payers paying her bills. Heart goes out to children and her parents. Only in this country would the media prop up this type of behavior with further attention. Suggestion to media is to “downplay” this type of thing, opposed to draining it for all the ratings possible. Outrageous behavior rewarded.
I think everyone should just back off. This is not what I want to hear about every morning I wake up and turn on the news. Nadya keeps saying she wants a big family, maybe she should have gotten married first. I really don’t think she was thinking of the future of the kids with no father, and how much it would cost to raise them. I am a single mother of 3, and I am struggling everyday to keep bills paid, food on the table. Everytime a mom has had multiple children, someone has always stepped in and helped out. We can clearly see that she is a loving mother and cares for all children, and Im sure she would do the same with the new babies, OF COURSE she will need help physically and mentally, hell some moms cannot make it with one baby. I think folks should stop putting all the focus on Nadya and make the primary concern the children, and what the future will hold for them. I definately don’t think the hospital should keep her babies. If I lived near her I would donate some time each day to help her care for her children. REALLY……for the time and money the media is spending talking about her, maybe someone should assist her in at least the basic neccessities…….for the sake of the babies.
Octumom needs serious help. What in the world would possess her to use student loans to live on – repeatedly going back for in vitro – have 6 kids and then just want one more????????? Her sick obsession of having children to validate her feeling loved is beyond rational. How dare she use taxpayer money and her sick needs to work the system depriving people who really need help. This lady is obviously not all there. My opinion is that she has her kids taken away(all of them) until she gets a job and some phycological help. Her parents house is in forclosure, shes living off student loans(she has to pay back), and the estimated cost to take care of these babies is 130,000 dollars a month. That is almost 3 times what i make in one year!!!! There is one thing people need to remember is that she did not plan this whole thing – with the last pregnancy she did not know that she was going to have 8. Yes she did have an obsession with having kids – but isn’t it like any other obsession or addiction -she needs help. I find people very unforgiving and unsympathetic. Maybe god had a hand in why all the kids are born and all are healthy. The question you’ll need to ask yourself is this:” What is the real reason for having this animosity against Nadya” Is it because she is now famous, and maybe potentially could become a millionaire.
People here really don’t have any compassion, I hope not all people in your country behave and feel this way, its quite sad. Yes she made a mistake, a very big one, and she seems like a person who cannot see the complexity of her situation, but hey, she did not kill anyone, rather she gave them life, and all she gets is this hate.
