Oscars 2009 host, Hugh Jackson performed a musical with Beyonce, HSM stars, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. It was spectacular (video below). I was truly impressed mainly with Hugh. Beyonce can sing and dance that’s no surprise and so can the High School Musical, on-and-off screen couple, Zac and Vanessa but boy, Hugh was simply a class act! No wonder he’s named the Sexiest Man Alive.

Miley Cyrus at the 2009 Oscars
Miley Cyrus, the Hannah Montana starlet looking all grown up and elegant in her silver Mermaid look-alike dress. Miley’s animated flick, Bolt, was nominated for Best Animated Feature but lost it to Wall-E. Cyrus told reporters that her bejeweled fish scale tiered princess gown – designed by Zuhair Murad – was inspired by “The Little Mermaid.”

Lisa Rinna acted drunk on the red carpet for the Oscars. Which normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, except she was hosting a red carpet show with Joey Fatone. And Joey also noticed and even commented on it during live TV!

Sean Penn surprisingly beat Mickey Rourke and took home the Lead Actor Award for his portrayal of Harvey Milk in Milk. Although Rourke didn’t end up getting his all-time get laid pass winning, we have to say that Rourke has made a dramatic almost miraculous comeback.
Jennifer Love Hewitt celebrated her birthday by dressing up as Audrey Hepburn. And re-creating a scene from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Ummmm, what is up with that? Is girl getting delusional since her split with Ross McCall?
