Penelope Cruz sleeps with strange men – bed partners – at least after award shows. No, she didn’t cheat on a rumored boyfriend.  She slept with her golden statuette. The Oscar award!  I wonder if he snores at night…

Penelope seems to be well grounded, even after being in Hollywood for so long.  This is what she told China Daily about her prestigious win in the supporting actress category:

“When they gave it to me I could not stop crying for 20 minutes. I could not look at it – is it for real, or one of those things my friends gave me or something?

“This morning I woke up with the same feeling. But I had put the Oscar in my bed, on the other pillow, I looked – and it was there!”

Awww. How sweet.  And real.  I hate it when a winner gets up there and pretends they are shocked, but then pulls out a note card with 100 names listed on it.  Shocked – riiiiight.  I’m glad Penelope won!
