Playboy wants Kate Winslet to pose in their magazine. Of course, that’s what all successful stars do.  Get a huge role, win an Oscar, then take it all off for a magazine.  Duh!  If that was the case, there would be way more A-listers between the covers of the nudie magazine.

Do you think Kate will pose in the buff?  She kind of already did for Vanity Fair and got caught up in a fur and then a photo shopping scandal, not of her making.  From The Sun:

IF an Oscar, two Golden Globes and a Bafta aren’t enough for Kate Winslet – she’s now been bestowed with another honour.

Hugh Hefner has offered the British actress a spot on the cover of Playboy with a nude spread inside.

If Kate takes Hugh up on his offer she would follow in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Stone, Pamela Anderson and fellow Oscar winner Charlize Theron.

The 82-year-old Playboy boss told a newspaper: “There’s no question we would be interested in Kate.

“It’s a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages.”

Wow.  If I were Kate, I’d jump right on that bandwagon.  Look how well Sharon, Pam and Marilyn are doing right now?  One is dead, one looks like a junkie and the other is a cougar.

Poor Hef. It’s finally a competitive market for the mogul who’s had to cut back on the parties this year.  No Holly & Kendra to bring in the money for him.  Do you think Kate will pose for him?
