Rihanna has canceled her 21st birthday bash. It wasn’t just a birthday party, but a huge celebration planned (and paid for probably) by her record label. Rihanna’s birthday is not until the end of the month, but the party was canceled and not postponed, this afternoon.

Rihanna already canceled her Malaysian concert. Then word came out that the pictures of the beat down were horrifying. Now Rihanna’s birthday gala is canceled and it is rumored her family wants her to come home to Barbados to recover. The Superficial says:
The bash for about 200 or so guests was to have had a carnival theme with various “sideshow” attractions, says a source familiar with the planning.
Although organizers were having difficulty securing sponsors for the party because of the economy, my source says Cîroc vodka had already or was about to sign on as the leading sponsor.
“They were talking about it being at Gotham Hall, but I don’t think it was definite just yet,” the source says.
Get well soon Rihanna! Hopefully her family can mend a bunch of hurt and keep her away from Chris.
