Terrence Howard retracts his support of Chris Brown. The actor mistakenly commented in the positive for Chris before it seemed he knew what was going on. Once his comments made the circuit of the Internet, I guess his PR company alerted him to the ruckus. Then he changed his tune.
More pictures after the flack…
This was his statement according to Contact Music:
And when asked for his thoughts about Brown, the puzzled actor simply said, “Chris is a great guy. He’ll be all right. And Rihanna knows he loves her. She’ll be all right. Just everybody’s got to get out of their way.”
WTH? He’s a great guy? But then Howard makes another statement, which is more like him.
Howard now insists he was wrong to make the comments.
A statement from the star reads, “When they asked me about Chris Brown, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of. Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive.”
Brown turned himself into police on Sunday night and was charged with making criminal threats.
I guess the stars shouldn’t comment on something until they know what that something is! Do you think the paparazzi were trying to get a statement to make news like this or was Terrence truly supportive until the backlash?

Terence Howard is a tool. Every black male ‘celebrity’ who has supported Chris Brown saying bullsh*t like “people make mistakes” “give him a break” are pathetic. You have shown your true colors and have a poor image of women.
Violence against women should not be tolerated by friends, family or famous people. If you have are in a violent relationship and think you’re normal -YOU AREN’T! It is not healthy or normal to abuse another person or take that abuse. You need some serious therapy if you think it’s ok that Chris Brown beat up Rihanna. It is messed up and he should face up to the consequences of his actions. If you want to act like you are a goody two shoes Disney boy and you beat up a woman you will get called out! Young, black women deserve so much more than that!!!!
