Tom Cruise was in Brazil for the premiere of Valkyrie and started speaking Spanish to a group of Brazilian reporters, whose national language is Portuguese. Whoops! When Tom sat down for the interview he said “hola” and then “gracias!” Oh, Tom. Brushing up on your foreign languages?

According to Page Six, he also told reporters that he learned to love Brazilian culture due to watching “movies with tango and samba.” While samba is absolutely Brazilian, tango actually originates from Argentina. So, Tommy loses again!
Oh well, like Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton before him, he should just brush up on the fun facts of whatever country he’s visiting.
