Vanity Fair doctored pictures from Freida Pinto’s story recently. The Slumdog Millionaire star has darker toned skin, but appears almost white in the magazine pictures. Why was Freida bleached? And why won’t Vanity Fair respond to the allegations? Thinking of an excuse…
More pictures after the rinse…
Freida has not made a comment about the pictures, but other people certainly have! From SAWF News:
Fame has started to extract a toll from Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto as the young Indian star finds herself unwittingly embroiled in a controversy not of her making.
With fame comes close scrutiny which in Freida’s case extends to the shade of her skin in photos published in Vanity Fair.
Pagesix reports that a furor is building over Freida’s shots in the magazine that show her with a skin tone much lighter than hers.
Vanity Fair hasn’t responded so far to calls inquiring if Freida had been photoshopped!
It seems Vanity Fair has a reputation with pictures and it’s all bad! Miley Cyrus topless, Kate Winslet on fur…now this? What is going on over there???
Do you think Freida was bleached or the lighting just ‘happened’ to turn out that way?
