Alyson Hannigan welcomed a baby daughter on her birthday, March 24th. Alyson who turned 35, and husband Alexis Desinof welcomed daughter Satyana in Los Angeles. Alyson met Alexis on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer back in 1999 and the two wed in 2003.

Before becoming pregnant Alyson was a strict vegan. Now according to Usmagazine.com she enjoys meat, cheese and ginger ale. She told reporters:

“I basically went from being a vegan to… now it’s meat and cheese — and ginger ale!” she said when asked about her pregnancy cravings. “Ginger ale, I love. Apparently, my mom craved ginger ale when she was pregnant with me! Maybe it’s a hereditary thing. But, yeah, I didn’t eat any meat or cheese before – now I have to.”

Alyson has starred on How I Met Your Mother since 2005.
