Amy Winehouse is now charged with assault. No, it isn’t assault with a new beehive. This charge comes from an incident back in the fall when she punched someone. Amy gets back from St. Lucia looking better and then gets slapped with this. Will it make her go downhill?

Amy looks much healthier than she did a few months ago. Maybe she did clean herself up on vacation. Because if she didn’t, things couldn’t much worse for her than they did in the fall. People Magazine says:
The singer, 25, has been charged with assault after an alleged incident in September at the posh End Of Summer Ball in London’s Berkeley Square. She has been ordered to court later this month.
A spokesman for London’s Metropolitan Police tells PEOPLE, “The singer has been charged. She will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17th March charged with common assault.”
Ooops. Hopefully Amy can fend off this charge and keep on the straight and narrow AND away from Blake Fielder Civil! He is nothing but trouble and hopefully Amy’s people can keep them apart.
