Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston have broken up. I guess the cute couple from Alaska has had a harder time of dealing with the media and parenting than they had first thought. At least they realized it before they got married!

The break up has been confirmed by both parties, so we’re not talking rumor here. Yahoo! News says:
The engagement is off for the teenage daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and the father of her baby. Levi Johnston Bristol Palin told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he and 18-year-old Bristol Palin mutually decided “a while ago” to end their relationship. The 19-year-old Johnston declined to elaborate.
Eighteen-year-old Bristol Palin says in a statement to the AP that she is “devastated.”
The two are the parents of a boy named Tripp, who was born Dec. 27.
The rumor part factors in when you hear Levi’s sister Mercedes speak. She says Bristol won’t let him near the baby because he is white trash! Ha. He doesn’t have a job, he didn’t graduate, he isn’t going to college. What else does she think her brother is than?

Good for him!!! Great for that whole clan.
His life was headed towards a forced marriage and he would not have been happy and therefore in the end Bristol and her child would not have been happy either.
That poor boy just knocked up the wrong chick and all he was trying to do was “get laid” by a hot chick. I also felt sorry for him even though I see him as a little bit of a loser. He tried to play the role they forced on him for a while but in the end it just wasn’t him.
