Britney Spears’ dad Jamie has fired three of her dancers for drug use. It seems that there was a clause in all contracts stating they must be clean during the whole tour. Oops. Guess they didn’t read that part.

Jamie had random drug tests ordered on dancers and three failed it. I guess they even begged for their jobs back. yeah, who wouldn’t in this economy! According to The Mirror:
The star’s handlers, led by dad Jamie Spears and manager Larry Rudolph, are being “beyond strict” to keep drugs off her 44-date run after she had a breakdown in February 2007.
An insider said: “Because of Britney’s past personal problems she now requires more insurance for her Circus tour than before.
“It’s a very rigorous process protecting all of those assets. Backstage her dad is beyond strict and rightfully so. He only wants the best for Britney.
“He’s protecting Britney’s comeback with every ounce of his being.”
On earlier tours Britney, 27, used to party with her dancers and married one, Kevin Federline, in 2004.
Yikes! I forgot about that. Jamie doesn’t need another ex son-in-law right now. I’d be strict too!
Meanwhile, Britney suns her bum in Miami getting ready to jet to New York for her next round of shows.
