Lisa Connell, a British woman who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2006, wants to spend $80, 000 for plastic surgery to look like Demi Moore. What?! This is some MTV Real Life crazy cakes material—where is reality television when you need it? Anway, Lisa is convinced this will make her last months on earth happier.

She writes in her blog:
I have to live whatever life I have left to the fullest and be as happy as I can with myself and if that means that having surgery is going to make me happier then that’s just what I need to do. Rent a Date for Charity [her brain tumor charity] is my life. I live and breathe for this campaign and to help others, how can I fully help others if I cannot first help myself in whatever way I can?
Wow. Well, you know—guess this is no different than people who choose to backpack through Europe high on hash with only a few months to live.
Demi Moore recently spoke out on Twitter (of course!) and said:
“Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me & encourage her to not to! She is a beautiful girl!”
