Rihanna and Chris Brown are taking a break from each other. While this might not remain permanent, some people are breathing a sigh of relief that Rihanna is, at least temporarily, away from the woman beater. The “break” may have happened for several reasons.

Once it was known Rihanna had taken Chris back, everyone made a comment. Not only did Chris’s career suffer, but Rihanna’s began to tumble because no one wanted to see her fall victim to abuse again. So, with the public outcry very much against a reconciliation, now we have word they are taking a break. From The Mail:
Rihanna and Chris Brown are reportedly ‘taking a break’ from their relationship, sources have revealed.
The pop star is currently in New York while Chris remains in Los Angeles following the fall-out of their allegedly violent argument last month.
The couple are not however calling it a formal split as they are said to be planning to get together soon despite his domestic battery charges.
Personally, I think it is a stunt to mend their public images. I don’t buy the break bit at all. I bet the bodyguards surrounding Rihanna aren’t hers, but Chris’s so he can watch her every move. And block the ones he wouldn’t approve of. What’s your take on it?
