Katherine Heigl now says she’d be thrilled to stay on Grey’s Anatomy if they’d take her. Lord, woman! Make up your mind! Katherine‘s character, Dr. Izzy, was diagnosed with skin cancer that spread to her brain. The show’s interns speculated she’d have a 5% survival rate. Producer and creator, Shonda Rhimes, is notoriously secretive about the plot’s twists and turns and won’t even reveal to Katherine if she’s dunzo on the show.

Katherine told the AP at a party celebrating the shows 100th episode:
I was assuming that [Izzie would die] at one point, and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don’t know if that’s a yes or a no…No one will tell me and I don’t know how this is going to go. I don’t know if I live or die, I don’t know how Izzie fares. “
She continues by telling the reporter that she’s “there” if Izzie lives. Wait now. Wasn’t Katherine the one itching to get out of that obligation because she now sees herelf as a big, bad silver screen actress?

Katherine Heigl has NEVER said she wants to leave Grey’s Anatomy. You will not find a single quote to that effect because its not true. The only people who keep going on about it are the media. She has success in movies..suddenly she wants to leave the show according to you guys. Even if she wants to do movies – is there anything wrong with that? No, nothing at all. That is what she has been doing in addition to Grey’s…she has a lot of projects line up…one coming out in July another about to start filming. I would say since she is on $6 million a movie..she is being rather successful at the too.
