Bernard Madoff, the disgraced financier accused of bilking investors of billions, admits guilt in Ponzi scheme. The former chairman of the Nasdaq stock exchange, Madoff pleaded guilty to 11 felony counts, including securities fraud, money laundering and perjury, that he allegedly cheated nearly 5,000 clients out of as much as $65 billion, according to federal prosecutors.

There is no agreement on sentencing but Madoff, 70, could likely be spending the rest of his life in jail for running what officials have said may be the nation’s biggest and most costly Ponzi scheme.
Robert Pattinson, the Twilight heartthrob is set to be gracing the GQ magazine April 2009 issue. Pattinson will be promoting his new flick “Little Ashes” which comes out on March 27. For the Twilight fans, the magazine hits newsstands early next week as the buzz goes. GQ April will also feature “What’s hot in 2009″.

Forbes’ annual list of the world’s billionaires with Bill Gates recaptured the title of world’s richest with a fortune of $40 billion from Warren Buffett, his wealth fell to $37 billion. Once again, telecom tycoon Carlos Slim took the third spot, with $35 billion this year. The billionaire list is leaner this year.
