Selena Gomez beat Miley Cyrus over the weekend…at the Kid’s Choice Awards. Miley had previously won in the Favorite Actress category, but Selena took home the orange blimp this year. The Disney star Selena was not present to accept her award because she is on location filming a movie for her show, The Wizards of Waverly Place. But other Disney Star Miley was there to see herself lose!

Selena found out about her award soon after, and posted video and Twitter updates or all to see. Selena looks ecstatic about her win and thanks fans several times for voting for her. See, Miley, that’s how you do it! You don’t pose topless or take racy pictures of yourself. Just Jared says:
The 16-year-old actress was at dinner with her Wizards family and friends when she heard of the win. Selena wrote in the video, “OH.MY.GOODNESS!!!!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to all of you guys!! This made my whole year!! As my first KCA, I dedicate it to you guys…Thank you for even considering me a choice!”
I think Selena has a huge future in television and movies if she can keep her nose clean like she has so far. Miley, on the other hand, is going the wrong way down stardom’s path. I think she will rebel soon and end up with drugs or getting pregnant. What’s your guess?
