Amy Winehouse and Snoop Dogg were too stoned to record songs together. Amy is working on her third album, the one she began while vacationing in St. Lucia, and Snoop Dogg was requested to meet her in the studio to collaborate on a series of singles.

According to Britian’s Sun, Amy Winehouse showed up “buzzing with ideas” but was quickly numbed by the good stuff Snoop Dogg brought with him.

“They were working at a frenetic pace at first but as the day wore on and more smoke breaks took place, the work rate slackened. By the time their studio time ended they had a pair of tracks sketched out but no finished product.”

Aww, man. But, you know, on the bright side, at least she’s smoking the good stuff with Snoop rather than smoking the baaad stuff with Blake. Baby steps, with Amy Winehouse.
