Amy Winehouse wants to be a writer and poet. Hmmm, the singer wants to quit singing, adopt a child and now write children’s books and poetry. It seems like Amy might really be kicking drugs and moving on with her life. These are good things, right?

I think Blake Fielder Civil was toxic for Amy. She’s shown she can live without him, get cleaned up and do worthwhile things. One of them apparently includes writing. From Ace Showbiz:
British troubled singer Amy Winehouse is planning to pen a children’s book upon being inspired by her rocker friend Pete Doherty, Britain’s Star Magazine reports. Besides, Amy also wants to release a book of her original poems.
Now, if Amy can just stay away from Pete Doherty, who is a mess, things could work out well for her. The right people seem to be in place who actually care about and are helping Amy recover from demons. Now, are these people available for loan, because Lindsay Lohan could sure use a few!
