Bethenny Frankel and Alex Rodriguez recently went on a romantic date in Miami. Bethenny and Alex were rumored to have dated a few months back, but spies said it was Alex who ended the short-lived affair. Most recently, Bethenny was in Miami to hawk her book, Naturally Thin, and worked the T.V. show circuit. Of course, an anchor asked her whether or not she and Alex were dating.

According to the New York Daily News:
“One of the anchors started the interview by asking Bethenny if she was dating Alex,” laughs a source in Miami. “She was snippy, and you could tell she was bothered that this was cutting into her promotional time, but she handled it well, simply saying ‘I’m not answering that.’” As for the unlikely twosome’s actual date, “Alex wanted to show her some of his Latin roots, something (ex-wife Cynthia) hated doing. So he took Bethenny to a Latin steakhouse in Coral Gables. It was very romantic,” our snitch shares.
However, it was also reported that A-Rod dropped Bethenny off at her hotel after the dinner. There were no sexy sleepovers and both stars reps say the two are just friends, and Bethenny wants nothing to do with A-Rod‘s “serial dating.”
