Billy Joel’s wife, Katie Lee, is cheating on Billy with an Isreali designer named Yigal Azrouel as we reported earlier. Billy and Katie got married almost five years ago, and while he’s pushing 60 and she’s only 27, it appeared the two were happy until recently. Of course, Katie swore to Billy the designer was gay (easy to believe, sure).

The National Enquirer (via celebitchy) has broken the story, and claims a divorce may be on the horizon.
For nearly a year, Katie Lee has been spotted out with Yigal Azrouel, a a handsome 36 year-old Israeli-born designer. Initially, Billy thought it was great that she met a new friend, someone to occupy her time while he trudges through a long tour schedule. But now he’s become very concerned. She’s practically going around acting like Yigal’s girlfriend. It’s almost like she’s forgotten that she’s married to Billy Joel!” another source told The Enquirer. “Billy initially thought Yigal – being a male fashion designer – was gay. But when someone told him the guy was heterosexual and had women hanging all over him, Billy began to worry.”
What in the world does Billy expect? He married a woman young enough to be his daughter!

All the money and all the talent in the world won’t buy you youth. Billy Joel knew what the circumstances were, I feel for sure going in. Hopefully he took the necessary precautions one should take to protect their vast fortune from an obvious golddigger. From getting a large chunk of in the eventual divorce.
