Courtney Love Is Broke
Courtney Love is broke. Courtney realized several handlers have squandered Kurt Cobain‘s multi-million dollar wealth, and now Love is left with nothing other than a civil suit she hopes will garner her some cash. When Kurt killed himself in 1994 he left $30 million in cash and $500 million in real estate that has been successfully squandered.

According to Page Six, Courtney‘s lawyer admits Love had some “substance abuse problems” (which is a crude understatement) and is not just beginning to wake up and smell the theivery.
“I have never seen such greed and moral turpitude. This case is going to make Bernard Madoff look warm and fuzzy,” Love‘s lawyer, Rhonda J. Holmes, of Gordon & Holmes in San Diego, told Page Six. We will be filing civil cases . . . within the next 30 days. There are many, many millions missing. We’ve only been able to track down $30 million, but there is more. And then there is the real estate.”
Ah, man. No matter how much the recession has sucked the fun out your pocket at least you aren’t trying to reclaim (we hope!) $530 million. Feast to famine, indeed.
