Demi Moore is an avid Tweeter and saved a life with her Twitter yesterday. Demi recieved a threatening tweet from a woman named Sandieguy late last night, where the woman claimed she was going to kill herself. Demi, who goes by the moniker mrskutcher, reposted the tweet to her 400, 000 followers. Before too long some of Demi‘s followers contacted the San Jose police department.

According to Eonline.com, the police visited the woman at home and while there weren’t any visible injuries, she was in fact a bit krazy kakes and taken in for psychiatric evaluation. Demi wrote on her Twitter:
“Everyone I was very torn about responding or retweeting that woman’s post but felt uncomfortable just letting it go,” Moore told her followers an hour later. In another post, she wrote, “Thanks everyone for reaching out to the San Jose PD I am told they are aware and no need to call anymore. I do not know this woman.”
Wow, who would’ve thought a social networking site would prevent someone from killing themselves. Odd and odder. And why are these crazies always drawn to Demi? Remember that British woman with cancer who wants to spend her last pennies and months on earth getting surgery to look like Moore?
