Lindsay Lohan says her split with Samantha Ronson came as a complete surprise. Lindsay was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing today) and admits she had no clue whatsoever that Samantha was through with her. Apparently all was going along swimmingly, Samantha disapeared for a week, and then made sure Lindsay couldn’t enter sister Charlotte’s party in Los Angeles.

Lindsay also laughed off the rumor the Ronson family had a restraining order against her. “What am I going to do?” she said, which, not kick a sista when she’s already down, we sorta see where she’s coming from. A heavy gust looks like it could carry Lindsay away at this point. Anyway, as People.com reports, Lindsay feel she’s in a good place now:

“You know when people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person,” said Lohan. “I think it’s been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been. My sister’s been here with me.”
