Mel Gibson is Getting a Divorce
Mel Gibson is getting a divorce! His wife of 28 years has said no more – officially – by filing for divorce in LA. The Gibson’s started rumors they were separated years ago, and more recently, Mel was pictured with a woman who was not his wife. I think that was the final blow to make her sign the papers.

Mel went several shades of crazy in the late 90s and early 00s. Like saying the world problems were because of Jews when you get arrested. Yeah, that won’t make you popular. From US Magazine:
Mel Gibson‘s wife Robyn has filed for divorce after 28 years of marriage.
In the papers — signed Apr. 9 — she cites “irreconcilable differences.”
“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so,” a rep for Gibson, 53, tells Usmagazine.com in a statement.
TMZ.com alleges that “there is no prenuptial agreement” based on source reporting. In 2006, Gibson’s fortune was estimated at $900 million. Under California law, community property — which includes earnings — is divided 50/50.
This could be one of the costliest divorces in history. She stands to get $300 million plus. The Gibson’s split might remain amicable, because they have a young son they will be getting joint custody of. This divorce might also be more expensive that Madonna’s, Michael Jordan’s, or Sting’s.
