Miley Cyrus new movie, Hannah Montana, is getting pretty awful reviews across the board. Hannah Montana, which opened on April 10th, is a spin-off of the popular Disney series where a normal girl is a pop star in disguise. It appears as if Miley’s hit T.V. show’s transition to the big screen won’t win her any showbiz awards, in fact one reviewer cautioned adults to stay as “far away” from the theatre as possible. Ouch.

According to a round-up of reviews, where one critic coldly snarked that Taylor Swift’s cameo “unintentionally but definitively upstages poor Hannah Montana” probably won’t make as much money in the box office as her last venture, Best Of Both Worlds. One movie reviewer added that it may not even be Miley’s fault the movie bombed, her makeup and hair were atrocious.

She has that trying-too-hard look. Maybe it’s the movie’s makeup artists who failed her — as Hannah, she just doesn’t look fresh and dewy enough, as even a teenage pop star ought to. And the wig looks a little too much like something Flip Wilson might wear as his own alter ego, Geraldine.”

Good thing Miley has the forgiving arms of panty man Justin Gaston to comfort her….
